Who is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia? Napoli wonderkid taking the football world by storm. Napoli’s Georgian new superstar has been nicknamed ‘Kvaradona’, after Napoli legend Maradona.
With a name like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia no wonder they are calling him Kvara or Kvaradona in Italy.
You’d have to say as far as soccer goes it really does revolve around those who can dribble and take players on. And that’s just what Kvara does when he gets the ball. He goes right at the defender.
And I mean soccer revolves around dribbling in that it’s what it makes the sport special and fun to watch. It is what gets the crowd going and on their feet. Yes, passing and keeping the ball is fun to watch too but to really unlock the defense and score a goal it often requires one player to trick or beat a defender with a fake or a move.
People turn on their televisions or go to the stadium to watch players like Kvara. He’s kind of one of those players who when he has the ball at his feet it seems like the defender is going to win the ball and then he’s gone – slipping past the defender.
A quick look at Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli’s new star striker. Really though he’s more of a winger than a striker. And he wears not number 10 but 77. He is just 21 years old and bought by Napoli for only $10 million. Watch Kvaradona in action in the video below.
