Cristiano Ronaldo Stats

Cristiano Ronaldo stats: Looking for some stats on Cristiano Ronaldo, come right this way. From SkySports: Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2009 for a then-world record fee of £80m and proceeded to exceed all expectations at the Bernabeu – overtaking Raul to become the club’s all-time top scorer three years ago.

Not sure how many step overs Cristiano Ronaldo averaged playing for Real Madrid. As Ronaldo has gotten older though he’s used more of his experience and knowledge to get himself into position to score and set up his teammates. There are now less step overs and more exacting and perfectly timed runs and passes.

In constant competition for Barcelona’s Messi, it’s incredible and we are all so fortunate to see these two legends playing and battling against each other in our lifetime. If Messi scores a goal then Cristiano does. If Messi scores a hat trick then Cristiano does. It’s a constant back and forth between the two. But here are some mind blowing soccer stats from Cristiano Ronaldo.

One interesting Cristiano stat is how many goals has he scored wearing his lucky earring? Or, how many games has he played with an earring? I think it’s more of a recent thing for Ronaldo, at least to train with his earring in. While he’s always worn earrings, don’t think he has usually played with it in his ear. Take the above image of Ronaldo, he’s training while wearing an earring and a snood!

From Goal.com, it seems Cristiano’s free kicks haven’t been going in like they used to. I’m guessing he’s get back on trend though and start scoring from free kicks again soon for Juventus.

Ronaldo scored 33 free kicks during his nine seasons at Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018 – as many as Barca ace Messi, albeit from slightly more attempts (444 to 419) – but his strike-rate has dropped dramatically in the interim.

There have been two free-kick goals for Portugal since the summer of 2018, including a memorable striker against Spain at the World Cup, but in his last five seasons of club football, Ronaldo has netted just seven in all competitions – and from 136 attempts.

Messi, by contrast, has grown ever more deadly. Thirty of his 52 career free-kick goals have come in the past five years.

Just how many more goals is Cristiano Ronaldo going to score in his football career. Will Ronaldo play until he’s forty. I can see him coming to the MLS and still scoring goals when he’s forty years old. He just loves to play the game of soccer and surely he’ll want to finish his career in a league like the MLS and further expand his brand in the United States.

Since turning 30, Ronaldo has increased his goals per game productivity. Just more amazing records and stats from Ronaldo:
